Tottenham and Chelsea show us prospects

The headlines from these two matches are that Chelsea show us that you can win things with youth. Then on the other side, Tottenham showed us that after a good heart to heart with their manager for about an hour, that they can get it done, they just needed a good "sit down".

It was a total team performance for the North London club. It was a day that Tottenham Hotspur woke up to the Premier League world around them and Crystal Palace were on the chopping block. Harry Kane may be the man for Tottenham up top, but Son Heung-Min overtook him in his second game back and showed that he was sorely missed. Bagging two goals in a man of the match performance, the Korean is well and truly back in FPL.

Erik Lamela at the start of the season, anyway, looks like a rejuvenated man under his fellow Argentinian. Erik Lamela is flying under the radar so far this season. We have been all talking about the likes of James Maddison, Youri Tielemanns, John McGinn etc, that we have all forgot about Erik Lamela. The Argentine, has scored 4 goals and assisted on 4 goals so far this term, he is only priced at 6.1 million and I will certainly be looking at him for the upcoming games.

Serge Aurier and Toby Alderweireld also got in on the action during the game and if the Manchester City defence ( I know, it's only been one game), performs like they did against Norwich City, then the Tottenham defence could become likely prospects for our FPL sides.

Tottenham Hotspurs next game is away to Leicester City this upcoming weekend. I believe, it will be a great game with two attacking teams. It will be a close game and both teams are expected to score. I expect Tottenham to have too much for the Foxes though.

Chelsea can actually win with youth, remember when Chelsea would just farm out their youth talent to other sides, all over the world and not bring through players from their youth system. Well, now with their transfer ban in place for at least the time being, they have to play their academy players and it is working to great affect.

Mason Mount and Tammy Abraham in Chelsea's first five games have outshone the likes of Christian Pulisic who was expected to come in and secure his place in that midfield. We all thought at the start of the season, that Olivier Giroud or Michy Batshuayi would be the main Chelsea attacker, but 7 goals including a hat-trick against Wolves in his last game out, has officially stamped his mark and made the striker role at Chelsea, his own.

Mason Mount much like Tammy is running the rule over it in midfield above more established players such as Jorginho and Matteo Kovacic. Mount is carrying on from where he left off on International duty with England, making his international debut recently. I know it is early days for the young Englishman, but 3 goals in his first five games for the Blues has drawn comparisons with Frank Lampard from his hay day.

Fikayo Tomori has been coming to the fore recently for Chelsea and is having a great time of it recently. Ten points in his first couple of games, has him at the top of the defensive charts for Chelsea.

All three players are sub 7.5 million and will allow you to fund moves elsewhere. If you are not looking to wildcard just yet, then these Chelsea players are able to allow you to do so. Chelsea's next five games are Liverpool, which will be a tough game, but after that it all looks good for the Blues.

Games against Brighton, Southampton, Newcastle United and Burnley means that it is more than likely that many a FPL manager will be bringing these players into their sides, mark my words.

Also, give our new sponsors Brennan's Brewing a follow also.
