Differential Captain Choice for GW5

We all know that Liverpool's Mo Salah or Raheem Sterling will be more than likely the main captain choice's in GW5, but in this article, we will take a look at some of the potential differential captain choices.

Harry Kane - Tottenham Hotspur: 11.0

Harry Kane and Tottenham Hotspur may not have had the best of starts to the season, but Tottenham are still one of the best teams in England at this point in time. Harry Kane has been flying under the radar so far this season with all the talk around Raheem Sterling, Mo Salah, Sadio Mane and Kevin de Bruyne etc. So, far in the first four weeks, Kane has scored three goals, a solid start if you ask me.

This weekend, I expect Tottenham who host Wilfried Zaha's Crystal Palace to have more than enough to defeat the Eagles. Tottenham will be aware of the damage that Palace can do, given how they played against Manchester United away, so there will be a lot of respect on both sides. If we don't see the Harry Kane who played against Manchester City, then we should expect at least one goal and perhaps an assist from the Englishman.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang - Arsenal: 11.0

Harry Kane's North London rivals, Arsenal have their own top class striker who has had a steady start to the season also, scoring 3 goals, but unlike Harold has managed to assist on one goal as well. He is definitely showing form in the early part of the season, barring a blank against the mighty Liverpool, but in saying that, it is Liverpool.

I fully expect Pierre-Emerick to get back to his old ways of keeping the FPL points ticking over when Arsenal go away to Watford this weekend, who they themselves will be in the midst of the start of the new manager bounce under the returning Quique Sanchez-Flores, who comes back for a second stint in charge.

Who will come out on top, Tottenham or Arsenal?

If you are looking for different captain choices to even Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang or Harry Kane, then you should be looking to Leicester City and Jamie Vardy. I still have that wonder goal that he scored just before International break. He plays a Manchester United side who after the Chelsea win, have been rightly brought back down to earth in the next three games. Happy home coming for Harry Maguire.

There's not many players who I would consider captaining this weekend outside of the players mentioned in this article, alongside Mo Salah, Raheem Sterling and one or two others. So, why not let us know, who you are picking as captain this weekend?
