Forwards who a sub 7.1 - who you should be looking towards

Let's take a look at some of the strikers who are sub 7.1 million for GW6 going forward. We all know about Teemu Pukki of Norwich City and Sebastian Haller of West Ham United, but let's have a look at some of the other players in this category, who could make a name for themselves in FPL going forward.

One player who has had a great start to the season is the new Brighton & Hove Albion striker who came in from Brentford, Neal Maupay. The French international has had a solid start to the season with two goals and no assists. Neal Maupay has scored 19 points so far and is priced at 6.0 million. I, myself am looking at getting David McGoldrick out of my side and a player like Neal Maupay could very well be making his way into my FPL team as a McGoldrick replacement.

Joshua King is another one of these sub 7.1 players / strikers who are priced well for our FPL sides. Priced at 6.3 million, Joshua King is part of an ever attacking AFC Bournemouth side who under Eddie Howe will score goals. One goal so far and two assists, the Norwegian International has made an ok start to the season, but Bournemouth face a tough couple of weeks with Arsenal, Norwich City and Southampton in their next couple of games.

We will take a look at two strikers from Burnley who compliment each other nicely. Chris Wood and Ashley Barnes, the New Zealander and Austrian international are at the fulcom of the attack. Ashley Barnes has so far scored 4 goals and 29 points, yet the striker is not being mentioned because of all of this Teemu Pukki love in that people are having. I know, the Barnes party doesn't have quite the ring to it unlike the Pukki Party. Although, Chris Wood has only scored 6 points so far. Ashley Barnes is priced at 6.7 and Wood is priced at 6.3.

I want to keep an eye on these types of players because with the likes of VAR, it means that defenders aren't really getting away with "the art of defending" anymore and thus strikers like Teemu Pukki, Neal Maupay etc are coming to the fore and scoring big in FPL. This could be the difference in your ranking at the end of the season and where you finish in your mini-league.
