International Break Preparing for Game Week 5

In my experience having played FPL for 6 seasons now I believe the International break not only allows the professional EPL footballers to take stock of the season thus far but the many millions of FPL Managers need to re assess how their teams are doing.

It’s a period of  deep reflection, conjecture debate  and patience is most definitely  required. The burning question for some managers is do I use my Wild Card chip  and reset my team? Some experienced mangers do not agree that this period should be used to Wild Card as there has only been 4 weeks of data to assess the team’s performance thus far.

The FPL Twitter community is divided on this strategy and my own personal belief is that each manager should use their own strategy and decide what is best for their own individual teams. The competition in fantasy Football league has grown immensely over the years and participants range literally from all over the world.  I am myself based in South Africa but feel the FPL worldwide community has a common love and passion for one thing and that is football.

The beauty of Football and passion unite all FPL managers and essentially manage a squad of 15 players  limited budget and to enter into various mini league competitions. FPL popularity is  growing  rapidly and over 6.5 million teams have been registered thus far. Strategy is key and managers anxiously look at the data regarding form and injuries of players over international break. The FPL community is very supportive and always willing to give advice over various forms of social media. My advise would be to not over think your strategy and believe in your squad.

Don’t rush to make changes remember we have 34 game weeks to go and all of us will have good and bad game weeks  that will  test us during the season. I wish you all green arrows and hope you use the time  to prepare for game week 5 . Remember it’s a game and is fun good luck all!
