RISE OF THE BUDGET FORWARDS

The 2019/20 Season has seen an emergence of a new set of budget friendly forwards . This includes the likes of Pukki , Tammy Abraham & Sebastian Haller.

Although it is still early stages of the season, it is worth noting the importance of the budget friendly forwards and the effect to our Fpl Teams.
Teemu Pukki has the best Goal return in the division while his starting price was only 6.5m. This enables a Manager to go heavy in the middle with the likes of Raheem Sterling and Salah while getting point returns upfront.

We still however dont know if they can keep it up in the long run or the premium Forwards will come bursting out of their shells.
So far Pukki is ahead of the premium options in terms of Goals but the likes of Aguero & Aubameyang aren't to be ignored and any Manager with a premium option shouldn't be hasty to let go of their options.

Teemu Pukki is overperforming his expected goal involvement but surely he will come down to earth overperforming his XG and XGI . He does play for an attacking Norwich side and he is most probably going to get returns over the course of the season but do expect some regression.

Sebastian Haller had the most shots on target in the weeked of any Fpl forward and managed to score a brace against Watford with a kinder fixture list it might be worthwhile jumping on Haller. Tammy Abraham is one to watch for the future . He scored a double against Norwich and is playing for a Top 6 side gurantted to score goals. His 7.1m price tag is a huge bargain especially with the talent behind the forward who create lots of chances with the likes of Mount and Jorginho.

The premium forwards deserve a look in too. Aguero proved his prowess in the weekend by scoring a double while Gabriel Jesus was out and it looks like the forward is being slept on by lots of managers or due to the fact of covering City attacking assets with KDB and Sterling. He does have a proven Fpl track record and he reminded us of that in the fixture against Bournmouth and should be in our thinking.

Aubameyang could come into the thinking of Fpl Managers soon as his fixtures ease up with only one top 6 side in the next 10 games for Arsenal - Man Utd in Gameweek 7 . But such a move would require a change in structure in most Fpl teams.

It is worthwhile investing in budget forwards but don't put the premium forwards out of your equation just yet as they may come roaring back.
